Subscription Agreement
Version 1.0 - Revised: October, 2014
This Good Business Day Subscription Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between you, a subscriber, and Copp Clark Limited, a division of Pearson Canada Inc. (“Copp Clark”). By accessing this web site and the services described herein, you agree to the terms and conditions set out in this Agreement. If you do not agree, you have no right or license to access this web site and services and you should not do so.
This Agreement governs the terms by which subscribers may access the GoodBusinessDay.com website, the digital flip book editions of Goodbusiness Day Finder® calendars, or the Day Finder App (collectively the “Services”).
A subscriber includes the owner of a Goodbusiness Day Finder® calendar who is authorized to access the Good Business Day™ Services by activating a Goodbusiness Day Finder® online account. Subscription benefits and access to the Services may vary depending on the level of services purchased or authorized.
A subscriber refers to a single person who has purchased or is authorized to access the Services. If the subscriber is a corporation or other entity, only one assigned individual within that entity may use the subscription to access the Services.
Our Content
Unless otherwise indicated, this web site and its contents including all publications and applications associated with the Services are the property of Copp Clark. This web site and its contents are protected, without limitation, pursuant to Canadian and international copyright, trademark and intellectual property laws.
Subscribers shall not remove or in any way alter any trademark, copyright, or other proprietary notice.
Subscribers shall not modify, copy, distribute, republish, translate, reproduce or commercially exploit, in whole or in part, any of the material on this web site, digital and print publications, software applications or other material or calendar data associated with the Services without the prior consent of Copp Clark. No intellectual property or other rights in and to this web site and the Services are transferred to subscribers under this Agreement.
Subscription Term, Termination & Modifications
This subscription term is valid for 3 months before the current calendar year and ends December 31st of the current calendar year. You must have a valid subscription to access the Services including any digital flip book editions of the Goodbusiness Day Finder® calendar (past or present) and the Day Finder App.
Copp Clark reserves the right to cancel accounts and restrict access to online material and the Services if you have misrepresented or lied about your personal information, the account has been stolen or is in use by an unauthorized individual or more than one individual, or you are abusing or are in violation of this Agreement.
This Agreement may be modified from time to time at the discretion of Copp Clark. Notification of modifications consists of posting a new or modified Agreement on the GoodBusinessDay.com website.
Our Data
Copp Clark takes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information in our products, the Services and our calendar data.
Holidays and observances in our print and flip book publications are often not final by press time and are therefore subject to change. In cases where we are not informed in time, comprehensive analysis of historical data is applied. Dates for holiday observances and bank closings are determined in a number of ways, including by correspondence with officials at the relevant agencies in each jurisdiction. Please note the holidays and observances in the online publications and Services are also subject to change without notice.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws, Copp Clark and its employees, agents, suppliers, and contractors shall in no event be liable for any claims, charges, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses of whatever nature and howsoever arising, including without limitation any compensatory, incidental, direct, indirect, special, punitive, or consequential damages, loss of use, loss of data, loss caused by a computer or electronic virus, loss of income or profit, loss of or damage to property, claims of third parties, or other losses of any kind or character, even if Copp Clark has been advised of the possibility of such damages or losses, arising out of or in connection with the use of this web site or any web site with which it is linked. You assume total responsibility for establishing such procedures for data back up and virus checking as you consider necessary.
Your Indemnification
You hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Copp Clark from and against any and all claims, charges, demands, damages, liabilities, losses, expenses, and liabilities of whatever nature and howsoever arising (including but not limited to any legal or other professional fees and the costs of defending or prosecuting any claim and any loss of profit, goodwill, and any other direct or consequential loss) incurred or suffered by Copp Clark directly or indirectly by reason of any act or omission which you commit in breach of this Agreement and the obligations and warranties contained in them.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the province of Ontario and the laws of Canada applicable therein.
